Bieber-haters on Saturday joined forces on Twitter to make 'RIP Justin Bieber' a Trending Topic. The search term also landed on Google Trends within a few hours. Reuters

Justin Bieber rubbished rumours of him dating his Baby video co-star, Jasmine Villegas, in an interview with Barbara Walters.

The photo, of him kissing Villegas in the back seat of a car, appeared in September and set the rumour mills rolling.

The singer was quizzed about it by Barbara Walters who has featured him in her ABC special 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010, which aired Thursday.

I didn't even know anyone was taking pictures, he said. It just kind of happened. It's not really weird... Is it weird?

I think every 16-year-old kisses girls, right? It's nothing out of the ordinary. He confirmed that he was currently single.

Other stars who were profiled in the 10 Most Fascinating People list were Betty White, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Palin, the Jersey Shore cast, Mark Zuckerberg, Kate Middleton and LeBron James.

Walters chose General David Petraeus, the top commander in Afghanistan, as her most fascinating person of the year, reports Daily Star.
