Justin Theroux wants to concentrate on writing now that his TV drama series “The Leftovers” is about to return for its final season. He is also open to writing a role for his wife Jennifer Aniston and believes that it will be fantastic if they can work together.

The “Cake” star previously announced that if she returns on TV she would want to be part of a show on a premium cable network. With Theroux focusing on writing and Aniston willing to join an on scripted series, the couple would make a great match.

“If the right thing came around I would definitely [write] it,” Theroux told Entertainment Tonight. “We toss around ideas occasionally, but it's got to be something I want to write and something she wants to act in, which is harder than you might think. But yeah, it would be fantastic if we were able to do something together.”

Aniston and Theroux exchanged vows in August 2015 at their home in Los Angeles. The couple wanted to keep their wedding intimate so they only invited a few guests and informed them that the event was for his 44th birthday. Their celebrity guests included John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Lisa Kudrow, Howard Stern, Sia, Chelsea Handler, Lake Bell, Ellen DeGeneres and Terry Richardson, Daily Mail reported.

In a recent interview with ET, Theroux explained why they opted for a secret wedding. “It’s so much more special when it's just your closest friends and family and it's lovely,” Aniston’s husband explained. “[Aniston and I] wanted it to be a peaceful environment, you don't want it to be hectic.”

While Aniston and Theroux’s relationship is smooth sailing, her ex, Brad Pitt, is facing a divorce and custody battle with Angelina Jolie. The “Break-Up” star was dragged into Pitt’s messy divorce, but her friend Chelsea Handler was quick to defend her. Handler told YOU magazine that Aniston doesn’t care about Pitt and Jolie’s divorce. She added that people are crazy for thinking that she does.
