Kaley Cuoco is very passionate about pit bull adoption, as well as dog adoption in general.

Just recently, the actress shared an adorable photo of a pit bull named Ariel who is looking for her permanent home. In the post, Cuoco gushed over Ariel and shared some information about the dog. Ariel, who is between 2 and 3 years old, loves snuggling and running. She is also very fond of eating dog cookies. Cuoco dubbed her the “sweetest dog on Earth” after spending an entire day with Ariel.

Cuoco has been teaming up with Paw Works, an animal rescue center in Southern California. According to the shelter’s official Instagram account, they have helped save 2,000 animals in just a span of two years.

“The Big Bang Theory” actress also encouraged her three million followers to contact the shelter immediately if anyone is interested in adopting Ariel. She added that she will cover the adoption fee just to make sure that the pit bull will find its rightful owner.

Meanwhile, Cuoco’s love for dogs has also caused her to make some poor decisions. On July 4, the actress shared a snap (via E! News) of her three dogs sitting on the American flag as they celebrated Independence Day. Immediately after she posted the photo, fans and critics of Cuoco started slamming the actress for allegedly disrespecting the flag. She immediately deleted the photo and posted a lengthy explanation saying that it wasn’t intentional. “Yesterday I made a mistake by posting the picture that was taken of my sweet dogs posing on an American flag. I sincerely apologize to anyone that has been offended by my previous post. This no way reflects my feelings toward what the American flag represents,” she wrote.

She ended the lengthy message by saying that being a public figure isn’t easy because everything she does is magnified, especially on social media. “I am not perfect,” she reminded everyone.
