Kate Middleton Channels Meghan Markle By Wearing Pantsuit In Latest Glam Appearance

Kate Middleton seemingly channeled Meghan Markle in a glam appearance by wearing a pantsuit from Alexander McQueen when she announced that she would be joining the virtual awards ceremony for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

The Duchess of Cambridge is popular for wearing dresses, but she switched up her royal wardrobe and opted for a tailored pantsuit on Monday. She paired it with a simple black top with a blazer. Middleton styled her hair in her signature bouncy blowout and accessorized with drop pearl earrings.

Middleton's pantsuit reminded many of Markle’s appearance back in 2018, People reported. Prince Harry's wife also sported a sleek pantsuit from Altuzarra for the WellChild Awards. Markle even donned a similar top as Middleton's at the time.

Kensington Palace shared the clip of Middleton's announcement on Twitter and it received the approval of the netizens who saw it.

"The Duchess looks absolutely stunning. I love her voice too. She's perfect," one commented.

"Wow she is glowing and gorgeous! I have to say she and Prince William seem the happiest they’ve ever been. Great work they are doing, raising a beautiful family and serving their country," another added.

Middleton presented the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award to Sergey Gorshkov on Tuesday. The Natural History Museum also shared the winning picture, dubbed as "The Embraced," which featured a lone Siberian tigress hugging a tree.

Many royal women around the world have already embraced the pantsuit trend including Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and Queen Letizia of Spain. Even Princess Diana rocked pantsuits when she was still alive. However, Queen Elizabeth II almost never wears slacks when attending royal engagements. Her Majesty is reportedly not a fan of the style.
