Prince William infamously dropped what was speculated to be a hint that his wife, Kate Middleton, was pregnant with the couple’s second child during his Down Under tour last month, telling a fan that they might have to make “make another one soon” after gifting him a shawl for his first child, Prince George.

Despite the 31-year-old British royal denying the baby rumors, one report is now claiming that the royal couple is “officially” expecting baby No. 2!

“Nine months after Prince George made his grand entrance, there’s another baby on the way,” reads a report from Life & Style magazine’s latest print issue.

According to the tabloid, the 32-year-old Duchess of Cambridge allegedly announced she was expecting prior to the couple’s three-week tour in New Zealand and Australia last month, just in time for the couple’s three-year wedding anniversary.

“Prince William presented Kate Middleton with a dazzling $5,650 Cartier watch, but the top-of-the-line timepiece couldn’t match the Duchess of Cambridge’s gift for her husband,” reads the report, adding that the couple’s parents, including William’s father, Prince Charles, are already privy to the baby news.

While the couple welcomed their first child less than one year ago, a royal insider told the magazine that the pair couldn’t be happier about expanding their young family. “William and Kate are ready for baby no. 2. They adore being parents and are eager to get on with adding to their family,” said the source, adding that their offspring’s closeness in age is being considered as a perk, rather than a burden.

“[Kate’s] mother, Carole, was pregnant with her sister, Pippa, just 11 months after she gave birth to Kate. William and Kate also really want children close in age,” said the insider.

As for the rumored bundle of joy's gender, which is reportedly unknown, the tabloid is claiming that Middleton has her heart set on welcoming a girl this time around. “Although they’ve both always said they don’t care what sex their children are, I know Kate would love to have a girl,” dished a source. Prince William also reportedly shares a similar hope. “He would love a daughter,” said a source of the British prince.

The rumored pregnancy news comes directly on the heels of Prince William’s comment to a fan who gifted the royal a shawl for the couple’s first child, HRH Prince George, during a stop in New Zealand in April. “You might have to make another one soon!” William said, a comment which was clarified to not mean another pregnancy after Middleton was spotted sipping wine the following day.

Middleton was last rumored to be pregnant in March after OK! Magazine published claims that the royal was expecting twins. Shortly after the article's release, Prince William confirmed that Middleton was not with child at a St. Patrick’s Day military base celebration in England, saying, “One’s enough at the moment.”
