Kate Middleton is back on her royal duties.

On Tuesday, the Duchess of Cambridge made an appearance at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families (AFNCCF) gala at Kensington Palace. Middleton is a patron of the organization that aims to promote children's mental health.

For the said event, Middleton sported a black lace-sleeved by Dian von Furstenberg. Vanity Fair noted that Meghan Markle was spotted in a similar dress in 2016 only that the "Suits" star's version was in a navy color and was shorter, it showed her bared legs.

Although Markle was seen wearing a similar dress last year, Middleton was the first one to don the ensemble. The Duchess of Cambridge first wore the same gown in 2014. It looked like she really loves it because she slipped on it again. Meanwhile, Markle didn't feel the same for the same dress she purchased. In fact, wearing it was her fashion cringe moment.

"I was going to this event and there was this DVF lace dress with a zipper up the back, and it was so fitted, and had tea length sleeves. … I bought one in navy and black," Markle told Glamour about her lace-sleeved dress. "It was too tight, and too short, and my hair was too polished, and everything about it was trying too hard."

Markle added that as one gets older she doesn't need to put that much effort. The "Horrible Bosses" star also felt that not everything needs to be perfect. "If your outfit is on point, one thing has to be off for you to look perfect," Prince Harry's girlfriend explained.

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie was spotted wearing a dress from Middleton's favorite designer, Jenny Packham. The "Maleficent" star opted for a silver gown when she graced the Hollywood Film Awards on Monday.

Jolie's gown costs $3,650. It was one of Packham's Fall 2017 collections. It is "inspired by what it means to be British." Middleton has been spotted wearing the designer's dress in different occasions. Packham confessed that she works directly with the Duchess of Cambridge.

"I absolutely work directly with Kate, it's always quite the collaboration!" Packham said of working with Middleton, adding that she thinks the royal mom's style is "great" and "very British."
