Kate and Pippa
A schoolteacher has bought Kate and Pippa Middleton's childhood home Reuters

The home where the future Queen of England grew up was sold for £485,000 [USD795,0000] to a couple of 'regular' folks.

Local schoolteacher Emma Appleby and her partner Tom Wyatt bought the Bradfield Sutton home, a four bedroom, semi-detached Victorian for £10,000 under the estimated bid, seven weeks before Appleby is due to give birth.

The Middleton factor did not influence us at all and we had no idea at first, the expectant mother told reporters. We were attracted to the lovely village, lovely house, good primary school and being near friends.

Kate and her scene-stealing sister Pippa lived in the home until the elder sister was 13. Their parents sold the home for £158,000 in 1995.
