Kate Upton may be adding a new best friend in co-star Alexandra Daddario. The two are reportedly having fun together while shooting the road-trip comedy "The Layover." Upton, one of the world’s most-in-demand supermodels, is currently shooting the William H. Macy-directed movie, E! News reported.

During the premiere of the action disaster film "San Andreas," Daddario described Upton as fun and smart. "She's so amazing and we're having the best time. I hope that comes out on screen because there isn't a day that goes by that I don't laugh hysterically."

Upton also shared a video on Instagram three weeks ago showing the two with their crazy dance moves. She captioned the video: “5am call time doesn't stop our dance party!”

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover model seems like an ideal best friend to have, with Daddario commenting on how Upton has so much energy. "She makes everything livelier and more fun and she is as beautiful as she is charming."

Variety reported on their pairing in the film earlier this month. The two play best friends who are on a trip to Florida but end up on a layover when their flight gets diverted. “It's a series of mishaps that happen after that," Daddario tells E! She also starred opposite Dwayne Johnson in "San Andreas" and appeared in HBO’s "True Detective" and the "Percy Jackson" series.

Upton may also join the cast of J.K. Rowling’s "Harry Potter" spinoff titled "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." The Wrap reported that Upton is being considered to play Queenie, as are actresses Katherine Waterston and Elizabeth Debicki. Eddie Redmayne will star as Newt Scamander in the film, with David Yates directing for Warner Brothers.
