Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have never openly admitted their romance, but they’ve been rumored to be an item for a couple of years now. Though the two stars continue to deny the dating rumors plaguing them, some sources claim otherwise.

One insider told Entertainment Tonight that Foxx, 49, recently surprised Holmes, 38, with a congratulatory bouquet of flowers while she was on the press tour for her new TV drama miniseries, “The Kennedys: After Camelot.” The pair has been romantically linked to each other since 2013, after they were spotted onstage dancing during the 4th Annual Apollo in the Hamptons benefit.

Although they were not seen in public together, the “Django Unchained” star reportedly spent a lot of time in her New York City apartment. Holmes and Foxx were reportedly able to hide their relationship from the scrutinizing public eye by “catering in” their date nights, according to the ET insider.

Prior to her rumored romance with Foxx, Holmes was previously married to Tom Cruise. The two got married in 2006 in a lavish ceremony in an Italian castle, but they divorced six years later in 2012. The “Top Gun” star told People that it was the “Dawson’s Creek” alum who filed for the divorce.

It’s been years since Cruise and Holmes’ split, so some are wondering why she has not yet confirmed her romance with Foxx. Like Holmes, the singer also seems to be determined to hide their romance.

In 2015, Foxx told ET that they were not dating. “What I’ve learned about society today is that they’re so thirsty. Especially in tabloid world and social media world, they’re so thirsty to find any story,” said Foxx about the reports linking him to Holmes. “Sometimes when you read the stuff, you’re like, ’Wow! That’s so not true!’”

Although Foxx and Holmes consistently denied any romantic ties with each other, they were plagued with split rumors. However, multiple sources told Us Weekly that the celebrities are still together. One of Foxx’s close friends, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Claudia Jordan, seemed to confirm their relationship when she said, “He is very happy with her.”

However, she later retracted her statement and said that she “misspoke.”
