Bruce Jenner was married to reality TV star Kris Jenner for 23 years before the couple eventually separated. They divorced just before he publicly admitted his gender identity crisis. The two-part special documentary, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce,” which will air Sunday and Monday evenings, looks deeper into their marriage and friendship. Moreover, the shows will talk about Kris and her journey toward accepting and supporting her ex-husband.

“We had so much in common, it was kind of a match made in heaven,” Kris says in a promo clip shared by E! Online. She describes how she and Bruce did everything together. She lists all the activities they enjoyed together -- including golf, auto racing and skiing.

Bruce says that he loved all the good times that he shared with his ex-wife. “The love and acceptance I have gotten from Kris is absolutely overwhelming,” he shares. The promo video also shows clips of the couple as they enjoyed family vacations, romantic kisses and special milestones like the births of their children.

The hosts of the show “Live From E!” talked about the promo video and in a clip posted on their website, they discuss the ordeal that both Bruce and Kris went through when Bruce admitted his situation. The hosts talk about the criticism that Kris has received from people who think that she's not being supportive. They discuss how Kris had to look back at her life and re-examine everything that she went through with Bruce. They also say that she would have to question which parts of their life were real and if he was ever even genuinely attracted to her.

They say that the criticism might have stemmed from another clip from the upcoming special. In it, a tearful Kris confides in her daughter Kim Kardashian about how she feels. She questions everything that took place in her life for over two decades and Kim tries to comfort her. The rest of the Kardashian children as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner will also be featured in the special. Some of them were caught on film as they were learning about Bruce’s secret for the first time.

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce” will air at 9 p.m. EDT Sunday and Monday on E!.
