R&B singer Kehlani sported a new hairstyle Saturday after she attempted suicide last week, following a love triangle with Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving and ex-boyfriend PartyNextDoor (PND). First she cut off her luscious locks and then she dyed them green. The new 'do is a completely different look than the star has donned since she stepped out into the limelight.

Kehlani, 20, hasn’t been active on social media since the love triangle was exposed. So any updates about the star come from her friends’ Snapchat account and from the Twitter account Kehlani Updates, which has been the most reliable source for news on the singer since she tried to take her life last Monday. The singer “doesn’t like Twitter, at all,” according to the page.

Kehlani Updates, which has the handle @YSBHDAILY, posted the photo of her new hair. Kehlani is pictured with her friend Edward, whose last name was not disclosed. She is wearing dark sunglasses and dark lipstick, which makes her short, bright green pixie cut stand out even more. The caption on the photo simply reads, “My bestie.” The photo was liked and shared hundreds of times by 25,400 followers.

Some fans wondered if the hairstyle was fake, but Kehlani Updates confirmed the hair was real and not a wig.

It’s unknown when Kehlani will drop new music, but she will reportedly come out with new stuff. “Her debut album is coming very soon,” the page promised Saturday.

The last time the R&B singer spoke out on social media, she thanked her fans for their support after he suicide attempt. “Thank you for the love,” she wrote. “Everyone's fighting things people know nothing about. Healthy, home, and with people who love me. Thank you for all [the] support. All God. Will be taking space.”
