Kelsey Grammar announced on the David Letterman Show that he plans to marry his girlfriend Kayte Walsh in February. The actor is currently on the Tony award winning musical, La Cage Aux Folles .

Grammar is involved in an acrimonious divorce with his third wife, Camille Grammar, who herself is on the reality show, “ Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. Camille filed for divorce in July and is seeking custody of their two children and a reported $50 million settlement. The two have been married since August 1997.

The 55-year-old actor told People magazine recently that he and Kayte, are marrying because we are engaged, and we are engaged because we are in love and see no reason to postpone our happiness any longer. He has recently requested for a quickie divorce from his wife.

Walsh, a 29-year-old British flight attendant, suffered a miscarriage after becoming pregnant with Grammar’s child.

Camille on her part is in no mood to heed the request for a quick divorce. She has asked the judge not to grant one till all matters concerning spousal support, division of property and custody of children are not sorted out. According to the court documents their estate together is valued around $120 million.

She has also hinted in interviews recently that Kelsey Grammar is a cross dresser not only on his show but in real life. She claims that he like women’s clothes.

Kelsey as usual has not responded with any comments.

Considering the present state of affairs, if Grammar still goes ahead with the wedding without the official divorce then Camille has said that his new wife should not get any money from the community property assets, and Kelsey should not change the beneficiary listed on the family trust, according to eonline.com.

Kelsey Grammar rose to fame with his role in Cheers which spinned off to Frasier. This show put Kelsey on the map. His career suffered a downturn due to addiction issues but he has turned it around.
