Khloe Kardashian was seen heading to an Equinox gym in California Thursday, though she should have less need for stress relief nowadays. The reality TV starlet celebrated her husband Lamar Odom’s birthday with him on Nov. 5 at an intimate family dinner in Beverly Hills, a signs that their relationship may be on the mend.
“It was just close family and friends,” a source told E! Online. “Lamar and Khloe are actually getting on very well and were couple-y together. It was very intimate, and everyone was really pleased to spend time with them.” Whether or not Kardashian and Odom reconcile, the gym and exercise seems to be her main way of relieving anxiety. Kardashian also is looking better than she has in years due to her weight loss. And she certainly is not the only celebrity who hits the gym consistently, whether to relieve stress or maintain their well-known physique. Kelly Ripa is as well known as a talk show host as she is for her love of fitness. The 42-year-old mother swears by AKT INMOTION, a cardio dance training by Anna Kaiser. She says she works out daily, and does AKT INMOTION about three or four days a week. She also runs, and does SoulCycle once or twice a week. “It’s good for my mind,” she admits.
Gwyneth Paltrow keeps her body in check by sticking to a strict regime. She shared her workout routine with The Telegraph earlier this year, and admitted to working out Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. How does she adhere to it at all times? She sees it as “an automatic routine, no different than brushing your teeth.”
Cameron Diaz is well known for her fit and toned body. Her trainer, Teddy Bass, revealed the actress hits the gym daily, Monday through Friday. In addition to running on the treadmill, she also does a series of exercises, including reverse lunges, squats, and arm exercises such as bicep curls. When she does not have enough time to head to the gym, Diaz has a 45-minute Pilates session.
Britney Spears has been showing off a trim body lately, thanks to consistent workouts with her trainer, Tony Martinez. As Martinez told E! in July ,“She is a tremendous athlete. She likes to be very strong and aggressive in her workouts.” In addition to eating right, she also does yoga and cardio to stay fit. “I’m doing 90 minutes of yoga twice a week in addition to a lot of cardio – hourlong sessions three times a week with my trainer,” Spears said this year.
Khloe’s sister Kim Kardashian certainly has to make sure she stays in shape, since her curvy body is what made her famous. Kardashian trains on a regular basis, not only during gym sessions, but also with bootcamp sessions. She is a frequent participant in Barry’s Bootcamp, a Hollywood exercise program that involves interval training and resistance routines. In addition she tones her body with Pilates sessions which incorporate cross-training exercises and engage the core.
