Kim Kardashian may have waited too long to make a public appearance following the birth of her daughter, North West, and now she is reportedly afraid that she is fading in fame. The reality star had her baby at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in California June 15, with boyfriend Kanye West skipping out of his own listening party in Los Angeles to make it to the hospital in time.

Since the birth, she has been spending most of her time at her mother Kris Jenner’s mansion, while her own new mansion in Bel-Air is being renovated. The 32-year-old has made few public appearences, most likely working on losing the baby weight before being snapped by the paparrazi. But after a little more than a month, it seems Kardashian is worried the media is not as concerned about her anymore.

"Kim has had this plan to show off how great she looks after giving birth and selling the pictures or videos for a lot of money, but she’s getting worried that it’s been too long and people aren’t as excited about seeing her anymore,” a source told RadarOnline.

Kim is used to having millions of adoring fans begging to see her all the time, but there has been a shift in her fan base, and she’s getting nervous that people don’t care as much about her,” the source said.

“After all the excitement the whole world had for Kate Middleton’s royal baby, Kim had hoped that people would care about her that much, but now she’s freaking out that they’re not,” the source continued.

It has been speculated that Kardashian will make an appearance before Aug. 15, at her sister Kylie Jenner’s sweet 16" party, in order to ensure focus is not taken from Jenner’s big day.
