Uh-oh, Kim Kardashian West has been caught playing favorites, and now she’s been forced to apologize to millions of jealous fans. She flew to New Orleans this week and celebrated the 21st birthday of a fan that she called her favorite. The comment caused some negative reactions and the reality star was forced to clarify her statement.

“Happy Birthday@MyleezaKardash I'm so thankful to spend your 21st birthday with you here in New Orleans! You have always been so real & supportive!” said Kim as she posted a selfie with the Kardashian fan. “Your tweets light up my day!!! Love you forever doll!” she said.

While her post was filled with love and very neutral affection, the fan in question, who calls herself Myleeza Kardashian, tweeted something more controversial.

Shortly after tweeting her joy at being called Kardashian’s favorite fan, both she and the reality star were inundated with jealous comments. It appears that some other fans, who call themselves dolls, were not too happy that the star is playing favorites. Kardashian immediately had to tweet a message to clarify what she said:

Myleeza was clearly bothered by the comments but she was gracious enough to accept Kardashian’s retraction. She also tweeted more explanations to defend herself and her ultimate idol.

All negativity aside. Myleeza then proceeded to gush about what she declares is the best birthday celebration ever. She said that Kardashian allowed her to ask any question, like a real friend. The two shared a meal together along with Kardashian’s entourage and at one point, they even went on FaceTime with Kardashian’s daughter North. The 2-year-old sang happy birthday to her mom’s friend.

While in New Orleans, Kardashian was accompanied by her close friend Jonathan Cheban as well as Simon Huck and makeup artist Joyce Bonelli. They all attended a parade where they wore masks and enjoyed some sugary beignets.
