Kim Kardashian is ready to have kids, she told talk show host Barbara Walters on "The View."

"At the space that I am in life now, kids are definitely something I want. I think I wanted that before. I think I fell in love so quickly and wanted that to be my life so badly but I just didn't take the time to find someone."

Kardashian, 31, also said, "Anything I'd be in now would be a permanent relationship."

The reality star has been dating "G.O.O.D." rapper Kanye West for about six months, and they have known each other for about 10 years. Earlier this month, Radar Online reported that Kardashian wants her divorce from NBA player Humphries finalized as soon as possible so she can marry West.

"Kim feels that Kanye is the man she is going to spend the rest of her life with, and she doesn't want to wait. Kim's deposition will likely take place in the next few weeks, but she feels nothing is going to be gained by it," a source told the celebrity gossip site.

Kardashian and Humphries married in a lavish $10 million wedding, only to separate 72 days later.

Last week, Kardashian tweeted a picture of herself in an embroidered Emilio Pucci bridal gown with the caption, "Late night fitting #pucci."

"I feel like we've been through a lot together as friends. He's always been the most supportive person in my life." Kardashian told Walters in reference to Kanye West.
