Kim Richards, a star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” may not have a job next year. Bravo reportedly doesn’t want to put the reality-television personality in front of the cameras in the wake of her recent arrest.

Richards, 50, was at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, when the staff called the police because of her “unruly” behavior. When she was asked to leave the hotel’s club, the Polo Lounge, the former child star went into a restroom and refused to leave. She was arrested and kicked an officer while at the police station, Us Weekly reported, citing the Beverly Hills Police Department. The recovering alcoholic was detained on suspicion of public intoxication, trespassing, resisting a police officer and battery on an officer, the Los Angeles Times said.

Although “RHOBH” is all about the drama, rumors surfaced that its producers want Richards to go to rehab again. They would like her to get better before Season 6 because she is considered a liability, according to Radar Online. A new report by TMZ also claimed they consider her a liability, but it contended that the network is considering firing her, rather than waiting for her to sober up.

“There are insurance issues with the show, and serious concerns that if something happens to Kim, Bravo could be on the hook for keeping her on such a contentious, demanding show,” TMZ said.

Richards admitted she was an alcoholic on an episode in 2012 after checking into rehab the previous year. Her fellow cast members questioned her sobriety throughout “RHOBH” Season 5, but it appears the series needs a different dramatic storyline next year. It seems none of the producers want Richards around if she isn’t completely sober. “There’s no interest in putting her back on television unless she’s addressed her issues,” a source told Us Weekly. “The show didn’t trigger her addiction -- and her recovery also needs to happen outside of it.”

No official decision about Richards’ future has been made, and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” has not yet been renewed for Season 6.
