New details have emerged surrounding the arrest of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kim Richards. As we previously reported, police were called to the Beverly Hills Hotel around 1:30 a.m. PDT after hotel security claimed that the 50-year-old was exhibiting “unruly” behavior. TMZ claims that she was causing a scene after being asked to leave the Polo Lounge, located inside the swanky hotel. Now, Beverly Hills police are sharing even more shocking details about the incident.

According to Us Weekly, BHPD confirmed that they were called to investigate "an intoxicated female." The female turned out to be the "RHOBH" star. The official report from the incident states that after being asked to leave the popular club, Richards "asked to use the restroom, where she remained and refused to leave." The report continues that the former child star, who has battled alcoholism in the past, "was displaying symptoms of alcohol intoxication."

The "RHOBH" cast member was taken into custody at 2:04 a.m. PDT. Beverly Hills PD confirmed TMZ's report that upon arrival at the police station, Richards kicked an officer. Fortunately he was not injured. After nearly nine hours, she was released with a citation. Richards is being charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest and battery. She is set to appear before a judge on June 11.

While she awaits her court date, people close to Richards are rallying to get her help. Radar Online reports that big wigs at NBC Universal, the company which owns Bravo, "held an emergency meeting" shortly after news of her arrest broke. The executives are said to have been discussing her future as part of the "Housewives" franchise.

"They called together all the higher-ups because they needed to discuss Kim's future involvement with the show," a source told Radar. "She has now become a liability and she needs to get help."

Producers for the reality series are said to be pushing Richards to check into rehab yet again. The reality star initially sought treatment in December 2011, checking herself into an undisclosed facility for one month. Although she has kept much of the details surrounding her time in treatment, as well as her recovery quiet, she claimed to have been sober for three years during season 5 of "RHOBH."

Kim has yet to comment on her arrest. However, many of her co-stars, including Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna, have sent well-wishes to her and her family.
