Software and video game developing giant Microsoft, in a statement, said that the company’s newest project Kinect has a price tag of $149 to compete with Sony Move, a report said.

While Sony had announced its price in E3, people waited for Microsoft to reveal the cost of its next-gen controller tech.

Kinect will provide the players with a dual mode gaming experience at the price similar to Sony’s Move.

The PlayStation Move includes two Playstation controllers and a Playstation Eye Camera. A Microsoft spokesperson asked the gamers to do the math accordingly and soon they would realize that Kinect is ‘very competitive price.’

However, the company forgot to mention that Kinect is only limited to two players while the Move enables the gamer to buy another controller for more than two players, the Think Digit website reported.
