Kristin Davis is hopeful that new “Sex and the City” projects may still happen in the future.

While speaking with E! News on Thursday, the actress said that there’s still a bit of hope so that she and her co-stars could something special for their fans. “I’m just grateful. I know my co-stars are grateful as well that we have the fan support, that we have each other, that we love each other. We still… maybe we’ll figure something out to do, I don’t know, but it would be great,” she said.

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that “Sex and the City” 3 will no longer push through. Cast member Sarah Jessica Parker expressed her sadness over the decision to not move forward with the project. “It’s over. We’re not doing it. I’m disappointed…” she told Entertaiment Tonight.

Days later, reports swirled that the decision to cancel the reunion was due to cast member Kim Cattrall. The actress played the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO series, as well as the first two movies. The actress said that she no longer want to reprise the role since she’s already done it for the past 20 years.

Some fans showed support for Cattrall, while others were disappointed with her decision. On Twitter, she urged everyone to move on from the issue, her character and the show.

Meanwhile, after the cancellation announcement, it was also revealed that Cattrall was never friends with Davis, Parker and Cynthia Nixon. During an interview on ITV’s “Piers Morgan’s Life Stories,” Cattrall herself said, “We’ve never been friends. We’ve been colleagues and in some way, it’s a very healthy place to be.”

Cattrall also denied the allegations that she was acting like “a demanding diva.” Rumors revealed that she refused to reprise her role because her demands weren’t met. “I didn’t ask for any money. I didn’t ask for any projects, to be thought of as some kind of diva is absolutely ridiculous,” she said.

The actress also said that she thinks Parker could’ve have a little bit nicer when she announced that “Sex and the City” 3 will no longer be a go. This way, rumors about Cattrall being a “diva” may not have surfaced.
