British shoe desigher, Kurt Geiger's shoe lines have been sold to a prominent American fashion business, it has been reported. Jones Group, who owns Nine West has bought Kurt Geiger from London-based firm Graphite Capital for £215 million.

The British footwear retailer was first opened in 1963 and now operates from more than 200 locations worldwide.
