“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner is no stranger to criticism, but she was once again targeted by social media users after Puma released its new ads.

The ads featured Jenner wearing a running outfit with matching shoes, according to Teen Vogue. The track and field community did not appreciate this because Jenner isn’t really a runner.

Many questioned why her father Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce, wasn’t chosen for the ad. Caitlyn used to be an Olympic runner, so the ads would have been perfect for her, whereas Kylie isn’t really athletic.

However, some came to the defense of the lip kit mogul, arguing that Jenner might be appealing to the average runner and not professional athletes.

Previously, Jenner was also criticized when she posted a series of photos of herself smoking a joint on Instagram.

The TV personality has a lot of young fans, so people thought that making smoking look glamorous would be sending the wrong message to them. “This is a really bad role model for kids and not a good example,” a follower commented. “Smoking? Really? Disgusting,” another added.

R. A. Farley of Refinery 29 feels the same way. “Jenner shared two images of herself smoking what appears to be a joint. She's half-clothed, fully made-up and oozing sex appeal. I take issue with neither smoking nor sex appeal on their own,” she wrote. “I do, however, dislike the association between the two. When Kylie Jenner, a woman who has a significant teen following on the internet, shares an image of herself smoking and looking cool, a fallacy is born.”

Farley said that people would come to the unfortunate logic that it is glamorous to smoke. “This is the exact logic that tobacco companies have employed in their advertising for years,” she fumed.
