Kylie Jenner Teases Surprise New Kylie Cosmetics For App Subscribers; What Makeup Products Is She Releasing Next?

Kylie Jenner has some exciting new things coming down the pipe this week. The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner siblings launched her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, in 2016 and has expanded from selling only lip products to other types of makeup as well.

With the success of the brand and continued outpouring of support from fans, Jenner has announced the surprise release of yet another new product. In a tweet on Monday she wrote that fans subscribed to her app would be the first to know what the product was. A link in the message takes fans to a blog post featuring a photo of an eye with metallic drops coming out of it. The post suggests that the photo is a major clue as to what’s coming. The mystery product will be made available Tuesday, Oct. 25 at an undisclosed time.

While many can’t get enough of Jenner’s makeup line, it has been met with its fair share of criticism. On Oct. 21, Jenner took to her blog to address rumors that her lip kit idea was a copycat version of ColourPop’s popular liquid matte lipsticks. In a video posted to her app, the makeup mogul assured fans that the reason for the similarities stems from the fact that Kylie Cosmetics and ColourPop share a manufacturer. Jenner said this is common practice, assuring fans that their formula is different.

“We have the same manufacturer, along with so many other brands. Just like how those big brands aren’t ColourPop is exactly how my brand is,” she said. “ColourPop and I are not the same. I have an exclusive formula that I created myself.”

In July, Jenner, 19, revealed that in addition to her wildly popular lip kits and glosses, Kylie Cosmetics would be manufacturing eye shadow palettes and cream liners. In a video on her app she provided fans with their first look at the palette, calling it her “baby” before showing off the various colors. Jenner excitedly told fans that she had been sporting the products on Instagram for some time now and was a big fan of “bronze colors and browns.” Her love of the hues played a big part in her decision to release the Bronze Palette first, insinuating that more would be coming.

“Surprise, I’m launching a KyShadow palette!! I’ve been working on this for months and I’m so excited to finally reveal the big news to you guys,” she said (via Seventeen). “This eyeshadow palette is literally my baby. It was so important for me to release this one first.”
