Tyga has moved out of girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s house in an effort to slow things down between the two, TMZ reported Friday, citing a source. Last week, reports had suggested that Jenner and the “Stimulated” rapper had broken up but the couple put the rumors to rest after attending the American Music Awards (AMA) together on Sunday.

The source told TMZ that the two had decided to move their relationship at a slow pace and increase personal space by living in different houses. The TMZ report said that Tyga had moved out of Kylie’s house in Calabasas, California, and had rented a place in Hollywood Hills. The source also said that the couple fought over Jenner’s recent trip to Australia with her sister Kendall Jenner on whether she should have traveled with her boyfriend or alone.

The report said that the two never really broke up completely, but their fight made them realize that they needed to be individuals with separate careers.

Rumors had suggested that the couple broke up on Nov. 20, after Tyga was seen celebrating his birthday without Kylie. Reports alleged that pressure from Kylie’s elder sisters, mainly Kendall Jenner, led the 18-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star to call it quits with Tyga. However, after attending the AMAs together, they were also seen holding hands on their way to Justin Bieber’s after-party.

Kylie was recently seen in a teaser video for an episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," where she addressed the breakup rumors.

“People have it all wrong,” Kylie said in the clip, adding: “We’re not broken up. We just, honestly, we became best friends before anything happened so I think that that’s awesome. And we’re just like, I don’t know, hanging out.”

Kylie also posted a Snapchat earlier this week of the two holding hands, with the caption: "Everybody needs to chill."
