NASA in the United States has released a few spell-binding photographs of galaxies, stars, constellations, and many more planetary and substellar objects in our skies.

The latest in a series of photograps captured by NASA's Hubble telescope (as well as others) include various stellar formations in the Milky Way galaxy, like the Tadpole Nebula, a star-forming hub in the Auriga constellation about 12,000 light-years from Earth and the Pacman Nebula located about 9,200 light years away.

Galactic Center
This NASA Hubble Space Telescope infrared mosaic image represents the sharpest survey of the Galactic Center to date. It reveals a new population of massive stars and new details in complex structures in the hot ionized gas swirling around the central 300 x 115 light-years. NASA
Asteroid Caught Marching Across Tadpole Nebula
This infrared image from NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, or WISE, showcases the Tadpole Nebula, a star-forming hub in the Auriga constellation about 12,000 light-years from Earth. As WISE scanned the sky, capturing this mosaic of stitched-together frames, it happened to catch an asteroid in our solar system passing by. NASA/JPL-Caltech/UCLA

NGC 281, known informally as the "Pacman Nebula" is pictured. In optical images the "mouth" of the Pacman character appears dark because of obscuration by dust and gas, but in the infrared Spitzer image the dust in this region glows brightly. NASA
Cepheus B
This composite image, created using data from the Chandra X-ray Observatory and the Spitzer Space Telescope, shows the molecular cloud Cepheus B, located in our galaxy about 2,400 light years from the Earth. A molecular cloud is a region containing cool interstellar gas and dust left over from the formation of the galaxy and mostly contains molecular hydrogen. NASA
