Country singer and tabloid fodder LeeAnn Rimes spoke candidly the spotlight in her personal life during an interview on The Ellen Degenerous Show' Thursday.

Rimes, who famously cheated on her former husband with her then-married, now-husband Eddie Cibran, admitted that the couple may have made some bad decisions when the relationship started, but pointed out that those mistakes brought them to where they are now -- which is a good place.

We've always put his kids first, she adds, referring to Cibran's two children from his marriage to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville. We took the kids into consideration with everything that we do. Sometimes you just want to scream. But you don't. We've learned to let it go and laugh at it, at the end of the day.

Rimes also fought back against the tabloid obsession with her weight -- offering a hasty denial of having an eating disorder herself, without going into any detail about her weight or her health. Instead, she condemned the tabloids for bullying and for being insensitive to people who actually do have anorexia or bulimia.

Degeneres told Rimes she took particular interest in the weight rumors because her wife, Portia de Rossi, struggled with anorexia herself.

In our opinion, Ellen did not seem completely convinced that LeeAnn did not have an eating disorder. See for yourself in this clip:
