“Legends of Tomorrow” star Franz Drameh talked about how the Time Bureau is different from the Legends.

Like the Legends, the Time Bureau is also formed by Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) to police time. Although both groups have the same founder and share one mission, Drameh said that the Time Bureau’s methods of policing time make the Legends look as if they are the new ones. “They are more professional,” the CW actor said (via Hidden Remote) of the Legends’ new rival at last month’s San Diego Comic-Con. “They are a well-oiled machine. They work well together which the Legends don’t necessarily do all the time.”

Drameh’s co-star Victor Graber echoed similar sentiments about the Time Bureau during an interview with Den of Geek. “They’re competition [for the Legends] in an odd way, because they’re awfully organized,” Garber said of the new group.

Phil Klemmer revealed to DC Legends TV earlier this week that the introduction of Time Bureau in Season 3 will actually force the Legends to go back to their normal lives. The team, however, will soon reunite after they learn that the Time Bureau isn’t that really effective in their job.

“The first six months are great,” Klemmer said when asked about Mick Rory’s (Dominic Purcell) well-deserved vacation in Aruba. “[But] six months, one day into it? Things take a turn. He’s the first Legend who realizes that the Time Bureau, for all their professionalism and competency, that there is one anachronism that they have missed, and for Mick, it’s just like ‘Aw, seriously? Do I have to? I could spend another six months on this beach, just getting tanned and drunk.’”

For the rest of the team, however, that unfixed anachronism is sort of their “golden ticket” to prove themselves once again. “That’s really the dynamic for Season 3: Our team justifying their existence, proving to their foils the Time Bureau that they’re still needed and necessary, that their unorthodox ways of doing things still serves a purpose,” Klemmer said.

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
