The Legion of Doom will start to take shape in Season 2, episode 5 of “Legends of Tomorrow.”
In a featurette teasing this week’s installment of “Arrow,” an offshoot of “The Flash,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim says that fans are going to see the “beginnings of the formation of Legion of Doom” in episode 5, titled “Compromised.”
In one of the scenes included in the promo clip, the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) tries to convince Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) to join him in his quest to rule the world.
“What is it that you want?” Damien asks the Reverse-Flash after the evil speedster helps him take down a group of armed men.
“A partner,” answers the Reverse-Flash, who also goes by the name Eobard Thawne.
Apparently, the former member of the League of Assassins needs some convincing before he can decide whether or not to accept the Reverse-Flash’s offer.
“You want to reshape the world? Try reshaping history. Try rewriting destiny,” the Reverse-Flash tells Damien, who turns out to be more interested in finding out the terms of their potential partnership.
“Try putting our partnership into concrete terms,” Damien tells the Reverse-Flash, “as in, ‘what’s in it for me?’”
As previously revealed, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) are also part of the Legion of Doom. During a press event last month, Guggenheim revealed that both Captain Cold and Malcolm are set to make their Season 2 debut in episode 8, which is the show’s midseason finale.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Guggenheim’s fellow executive producer Greg Berlanti said that the latter half of the current installment is going to be “the ultimate bad guy team-up,” as the four villains finally work together to make sure that the Legends can’t stop them from fulfilling their wicked intentions.
Last Monday, Guggenheim revealed on Twitter that episode 10 is titled “Legion of Doom,” which pretty much suggests that the hour is going to put the spotlight on the season’s main baddies.
“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2, episode 5 airs on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
