‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Season 2 Characters
“Legends of Tomorrow” executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed the title for Season 2, episode 13. The CW

Fans of “Legends of Tomorrow” may see more dinosaurs in an upcoming episode of the CW series.

On Wednesday, Dec. 14, executive producer Marc Guggenheim shared on Twitter that filming for Season 2, episode 13 has started. The first page of the episode script, which Guggenheim also posted on the social networking site, revealed that the episode is titled “Land of the Lost.”

If the title is a nod to the popular children’s TV series of the same name that originally aired on NBC during the 1970s, then it’s likely that the Legends will be facing some dinosaurs in the episode.

“Land of the Lost” follows the story of the Marshall family who are trapped in an alternate universe inhabited by dinosaurs; small ape-like humanoids called Pakuni; and devolved green lizard creatures called Sleestak. Each episode of the series centers on the family’s efforts to survive and find a way back to their own world.

But since “Land of the Lost” is not a property of DC Entertainment, it’s not likely that Legends will be teaming up with the Marshall family and their friends to take down Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).

According to Comic Book Resources, one more likely scenario is that the Legends will discover Dinosaur Island, a mysterious uncharted island located somewhere in the South Pacific. The island is known for its high population of dinosaurs and other animals that would otherwise be extinct in the normal world. Dinosaur Island is said to be a “chronomaly,” a place that exists outside of normal space and time where the laws of physics take liberties.

If Season 2, episode 13 will indeed feature dinosaurs, then it would be the second time that a prehistoric creature has appeared on the show. In the Season 2 premiere, fans saw Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) being chased by a T-Rex in South Dakota 70 million years ago.

“Legends of Tomorrow” is currently on its midseason hiatus. Its next episode (Season 2, episode 9), titled “Raiders of Lost Arc,” airs on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
