‘Lethal Weapon’: Murtaugh’s Vacation Is Postponed In Season 2, Episode 10 [VIDEO]

Murtaugh’s Christmas vacation is put on hold in next week’s installment of “Lethal Weapon.”

According to the synopsis for Season 2, episode 10 of the Fox series, Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) and his whole family are headed to Hawaii for a vacation when he and Riggs (Clayne Crawford) are called to a homicide. The case hits close to home for the detectives when they find out that the victim is a close friend.

In the trailer for the episode, the authorities appear to have found packs of illegal drugs in the bag of the victim. While the promo clip doesn’t reveal the person responsible for the killing, Murtaugh and Riggs are seen crashing what seems to be a Christmas dinner and approach an apparent person of interest named Grant Davenport (Martin Donovan).

But as seen in the video, the partners’ first meeting with Grant doesn’t end well, as Murtaugh loses his cool and forcibly dunks Grant’s face into a bowl of eggnog.

Curiously, after Murtaugh and Riggs’ initial encounter with Grant, armed men start coming at them. At some point in the trailer, a rider shoots Riggs’ truck and a group of thugs shower Murtaugh’s house with bullets.

Elsewhere in the trailer, Murtaugh and Riggs try to pursue a man who appears to have information about the homicide. But when the man leaps from one building to another, Riggs decidedly gives up chasing him.

“Why didn’t you jump?” Murtaugh asks.

“Cause I didn’t want to die today,” Riggs replies.

Riggs’ better perspective in life is likely a result of his blooming romance with Molly (Kristen Gutoskie), who will again guest star in the episode. As seen in the promo photos for the episode, Riggs, Molly and her son Ben (Duncan Joiner) go out on what appears to be a family date.

In addition to Donovan, Gutoskie and Joiner, other guest stars in the episode include Rex Linn as Nathan Riggs, Andrew Patrick Ralston as Jim McNeile, Juan Riedinger as Liam Taylor, Eddie Ramos as Diego, and Chelsea Tavares as Crystal.

“Lethal Weapon” Season 2, episode 10, titled “Wreck the Halls,” airs on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
