Mysterious official invitation with an interesting “music box” is believed to be related to the LG G5. Android Central

LG has apparently sent out an interesting invitation to an event scheduled in Barcelona on Feb. 21. Even though, the invitation does not say which device will be launched at the event, the flagship LG G5 sounds like the best option among others.

The cryptic invitation has an old “music box” covered in Green, Yellow and Bronze colors. The timing on the invitation says “14:00 Feb 21, 2016” and the tagline says “Play Begins.” This message can be translated to a music-centric smartphone, similar to the selfie-camera-focused devices. Not to forget, LG released an audio-centric handset called “LG Band Play” in the mid of 2015.

Meanwhile, GSM Arena said that the South Korean tech giant could be releasing a "music service," much like the Apple Music. However, LG apparently introduced a high-resolution music service in August 2015. This service supports 24-bit / 192 kHz audio. The other possibility is the “Music Flow,” which is nothing but a lineup of multi-room speakers, debuted in 2014.

Out of all the listed possibilities, the G5 sounds like the possible option. Hence, here is a summary of rumored LG G5 specifications and features. This handset will reportedly feature a 5.3-inch Quad HD display. Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC will power the device and will be backed by a good 3 GB of RAM.

When it comes to camera configuration, the LG G5 is believed to feature a dual-camera setup. This means, the multiple-camera setup could sport a combination of sensors to capture perfect shots. For instance, the phone could carry a 16-megapixel sensor and an additional 8-megapixel unit at the back. To top it off, a cool 8-megapixel front-facing shooter will apparently be part of the device.

This smartphone will apparently come with a USB Type-C port, IR blaster, single speaker and a pressure sensor. However, readers are advised to take the reported LG G5-related information with the proverbial pinch of salt as the company has not confirmed any details so far.
