American actress Linsay Lohan posted a note on Twitter today hinting that she landed a role in a movie from director Robert Rodriguez.

Something was made official today!!!!!!!!! Lohan twitted attaching a link to the International Movie Data Base' info of Grindhouse spinoff Machete.

The news comes as a surprise because it would be the second movie role in the last two years for the troubled 23 year old actress whose latest movie Labor Pains skipped the big screen, going straight to TV.

Rodriguez' movie plot is about ex-Federale named Machete who is hired to kill a senator. After being betrayed he seeks revenge against his former boss. Jonah Hill, Robert De Niro and Steven Seagal are rumored to be cast members in the film, according to IMDB.
