Chelsea have just taken the lead in their Champions League quarter-final second-leg against Benfica at Stamford Bridge, with a penalty from Frank Lampard.

Chelsea have named David Luiz in their starting lineup after the defender was passed fit. The Brazilian had been a major doubt after being forced off with an ankle injury during Chelsea's match with Aston Villa on Saturday.

The other main news concerning Chelsea's lineup is that Frank Lampard starts in the midfield. The veteran England international was left out of the first-leg last week, but has been selected ahead of Raul Meireles, who has to be content with a place on the bench.

Fernando Torres is picked up front, supported by Salomon Kalou and Juan Mata. Didier Droga is on the substitutes' bench.

Benfica's defensive injury crisis means that left-back Emerson starts in the center of defense alongside midfielder Javi Garcia. Joan Capdevilla is at left-back.

Chelsea secured a massive result last week by coming away from the Estadio da Luz with a 1-0 lead that put them in a strong position heading into the return match tonight.

The result came as something of a surprise given the Portuguese side's impressive home record and Chelsea's still uncertain form, even after the upturn under Roberto di Matteo.

But while many have already hailed Chelsea as certain semi-finalists, Benfica should not be discounted in the return at Stamford Bridge. It is unlikely that Jorge Jesus' men will perform as badly as they did in Lisbon and there is enough quality in their roster going forward to cause Chelsea problems.

Benfica will be looking to maintain their record of scoring in every away game in the competition this season, including two at Old Trafford against Manchester United in November.
