Microsoft-Lumia
Check out the live photos of the Microsoft Lumia 650 XL, also known as the Lumia 850. Microsoft

According to past reports, Microsoft is working on two Lumia devices. The upcoming Lumia 650 is the mid-ranger, while the Lumia 850 will be the high-end device. However, a new rumor from China points to a device called “Microsoft Lumia 650 XL.”

Both Lumia 650 and Lumia 850 were believed to come with a 5.0-inch display, based on past rumors. On the other hand, the latest picture from Baidu shows the Lumia 650 XL with a 5.4-inch display and 720p resolution.

The image attached above shows the 650 XL with Lumia 1520 by its side. From the photo, it’s quite clear that the upcoming device has a huge display and it could very well be 5.4 inches.

Not to forget, the predecessor 5.0-inch Lumia 640 also came with a gigantic variant called Lumia 640 XL with 5.7-inch display. Hence, there’s a good possibility that Microsoft could be working on a bigger sibling.

The Baidu post further said the Lumia 650 XL will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 or 212 chipset (MSM8909), which is same as the speculated Lumia 650. Plus, the upcoming handset will reportedly feature an LED Flash, Nokia Power User reported.

However, GSM Arena said that the live photo of the Lumia 650 XL resembles the Lumia 850 leaked earlier. The single speaker located at the top of the front panel, just above the logo, has 850 written all over it, whereas the 650’s speaker is pushed to the edge of the front panel, based on earlier leaks.

As of now, many portals are speculating that the device in question could be the Lumia 850. Whichever name Microsoft chooses for its device, it will apparently come with a 5.4-inch display.
