Louis Tomlinson’s former fling Briana Jungwirth is celebrating her first Mother’s Day. The Los Angeles-based stylist took to Instagram to share a video of her and Tomlinson’s son, Freddie Reign, but also lashed out at the people who have made motherhood difficult for her.

“This past year has been the best and worst of my life. I was blessed with the most amazing gift — a beautiful baby boy that I grew inside of me for nine months,” she wrote. “On the other hand, I was scrutinized and harassed by thousands — which even included major media outlets who all seemed to believe he wasn’t real. I am beyond disgusted by it all.”

Jungwirth, who gave birth to Freddie in February, wrote that she wanted to feel “joy and excitement” about becoming a first-time parent, and it’s not OK that people attacked her. “For all of you who think doing this to myself and my innocent child is OK, you’re highly mistaken. I also know that if it was said about you, you may not had the will power to hold back as much as I have,” her post read. “I will be strong enough to continue to embrace this journey, love my son endlessly and be kind to those who do not deserve it even if it’s the last thing I’d like to do. Happy Mother’s Day to myself. I’m proud to be Freddie’s mommy.”

Tomlinson has not commented on Jungwirth’s post, and he hasn’t publicly wished her a happy Mother’s Day.

As previously reported, it was rumored that the stylist was hesitant to let Tomlinson’s girlfriend, actress Danielle Campbell, around Freddie. TMZ reported in February that she was “deeply concerned” about the actress and did not want her spending time with the now 3-month-old baby. “We’re told she only wants Louis to spend time with Freddie at her home,” the site wrote, adding that Jungwirth doesn’t want Campbell around the baby because it “could confuse the infant and interfere with a critical bonding period.”

There were also reports that Jungwirth and Tomlinson were butting heads over custody of their baby boy, but they reached a temporary settlement on Feb. 26. The One Direction singer isn’t allowed to have overnight visits with Freddie, but he can spend several hours a week with his son.
