Last week, many thought there was "No Doubt About It" that "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett was dating "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" star Milan Christopher. Neither side confirmed or denied the rumors until Christopher shot down the dating speculation on Monday.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Christopher addressed the rumors that he is dating Smollett, 32. While he seemed to get excited at the mention of Smollett, the VH1 reality star said there is no romantic relationship between them at this time.

"I think Jussie is a great person, an attractive person, but we are not dating," Christopher said.

The rumors started after an interview with the Shade Room, where Christopher discussed his dating life. The Shade Room suggested he was dating Smollett, but all the rapper would say was that he was "single with options" and was spending time with someone he's "interested in." Christopher is fresh off his relationship with co-star Miles Brock, who the reality star accused of assault in October.

In March, Smollett revealed that he was gay in a backstage interview with Ellen DeGeneres. Later that same month, the 32 year old told Variety that he made the revelation to DeGeneres so others out there knew they were not alone.

"It was a bigger deal to everyone than it was for me,” he said. "But at the same time I do understand why it is something to talk about."

While Smollett may not have a relationship in real life, things are getting complicated for his character Jamal on "Empire." Jamal is openly gay, but after making a new song with singer Skye Summers (Alicia Keys), the two hugged and then shared a kiss. Did the kiss not mean anything or did Jamal and Skye connect on a very deep level?

Fans should get answers when the fall finale of "Empire" airs on Fox Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST.
