Seeking to improve their national reputation, the LSU Tigers welcome the Towson Tigers Saturday night at Tiger Stadium.

LSU dropped a spot in the rankings after a lackluster 12-10 win over Auburn, where the defense performed as usual, but the offense stalled with four punts in the second half and two turnovers for the game.

No. 3 LSU held Auburn to 183 total yards, and sped out to a 9-0 lead in the first quarter with a safety by Sam Montgomery, followed by a one-yard touchdown run by Michael Ford.

Auburn responded with a 10-0 run to take the lead after kicker Cody Parker’s 40-yard field goal just before halftime.

LSU’s defense took over for the rest of the game, and kicker Drew Alleman knocked in a 30-yard field goal for the go-ahead win.

Running back Spencer Ware gained 90 yards on 16 carries, and Ford finished eight carries for 41 yards.

LSU should be able to find their groove again versus a sure to be overwhelmed Towson squad.

Towson looks to repeat their performance from last week when they beat St. Francis 46-17.

Sophomore running back Terrance West scored three touchdowns, and he’s scored 34 career touchdowns in just 14 games.

Towson blew the game open in the first quarter, with a 99-yard kick-off return by sophomore Derrick Joseph and West’s first two touchdowns for a 21-7 lead they would never relinquish.

The match-up begins at 7pm ET and will be broadcast by ESPNU.

Prediction: This should be a no contest in LSU's favor, as they have too much talent for this game to be close.

Predicted Score: LSU 52, Towson 7
