‘Lucifer’
Lucifer (Tom Ellis) lived up to his promise of saving Chloe (Lauren German) in “Lucifer” Season 2, episode 13. Fox

Fox just unveiled a deleted scene from one episode of “Lucifer” Season 2.

In the one-minute clip, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) visits Chloe Decker (Lauren German) at the hospital after she was poisoned by Professor Carlisle (Tim DeKay) in “A Good Day to Die.” After the professor’s demise, Lucifer came up with a plan to kill himself so that he could track him down in hell. With the help of Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt), Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) and Dr. Linda (Rachael Harris), Lucifer was able to succeed last season. However, Lucifer saying his goodbyes to Chloe before ending his life wasn’t shown in episode 13.

The clip opens with Lucifer looking at Chloe as she rests. Before leaving her hospital room, Chloe wakes up and sees that Lucifer paid her a visit. She then ribs Lucifer over him staring at her while she sleeps like a pervert.

The two also talk about Chloe’s daughter, Trixie (Scarlet Estevez), who was just at the hospital a few hours earlier. Lucifer tells Chloe that Trixie is busy playing with the slot machines. Chloe also asks Lucifer if something is wrong since he has a worried look on his face. He tells Chloe that he will do everything in his power to fix what just happened. However, Lucifer does not tell Chloe what his actual plan is because he knows that not only will she be worried, but she will also try to talk him out of it. In the end, Lucifer successfully tracked down the professor, and Chloe recovered quickly.

Meanwhile, “Lucifer” Season 3 is set to premiere on Fox next month. The upcoming episodes will continue to focus on Lucifer and Chloe’s personal and professional relationship. But the arrival of a new male character named Marcus Pierce (Tom Welling) could make their situation a little more complicated.

According to Variety, Marcus is an accomplished police lieutenant who will be working closely with both Lucifer and Chloe in their upcoming cases. He is described as a charming, well-respected, charismatic and handsome man just like the lead character. As of late, it is still unclear if Welling will be part of all the upcoming episodes for the series or just appear in a few.

“Lucifer” Season 3 will premiere on Fox on Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. EDT.
