‘Lucifer’
Chloe Decker's (Lauren German) life will be put at risk now that her true identity has been revealed in “Lucifer” Season 2, episode 11. FOX

“Lucifer” Season 2 recently revealed that Chloe Decker (Lauren German) is a miracle baby.

In the previous episode, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) finally realized why Chloe seems to be the only human being who is immune to Lucifer's charms. Several years ago, Charlotte’s parents prayed to God to bless them with a baby since they had been having a difficult time getting pregnant. God asked Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) to heed their prayers so he went to Earth to bless them. A few weeks later, Penelope (Rebecca de Mornay) got pregnant with Chloe.

While speaking with TV Line, showrunner Ildy Modrovich recently said that Chloe is a miracle baby and not just an ordinary human being. “If we wanted to put a nice little label on her, I think she is, definitely, a miracle, because she wasn’t supposed to be born, and then Amenadiel came down and blessed Penelope’s womb – and that’s the only time he’s ever done that. God is the one that basically put her in Lucifer’s path, and made her the only human immune to his charms,” she explained.

However, bigger problems are brewing for Lucifer and Chloe. When the hit FOX TV series returns next year, Charlotte will tell Lucifer why Chloe is so special. This revelation will shock Lucifer, who may then try to distance himself from his good friend.

Chloe will also get into a lot of trouble. A scene in the teaser for “Stewardess Interrupts” shows Chloe’s nose bleeding profusely. She also looks as though she will pass out at any moment. A concerned Lucifer may consider returning to Hell if it means Chloe will be safe. This will make Charlotte very happy since she’s been encouraging her sons to go back home.

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 11 will air on FOX on Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. EST.
