‘Lucifer’
How will Lucifer (Tom Ellis) make it up to Chloe (Lauren German) in “Lucifer” Season 2, episode 14? FOX

“Lucifer” Season 2 will soon return to FOX with episode 14, and Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) and Chloe Decker (Lauren German) will not be on the best of terms in the upcoming installment.

While speaking with TV Line, co-showrunner Joe Henderson shared important information about the two characters’ relationship. According to him, Lucifer and Chloe are on rockier footing than viewers have ever seen them. In episode 13, Lucifer proved to be a charmer when he decided to save Chloe. The lead character also charmed his way into Chloe’s heart by kissing her. However, when Lucifer realized that Chloe’s feelings for him could be fake, he decided to flee Los Angeles without any explanation.

Henderson added that when “Lucifer” Season 2 returns in May, Chloe will be extremely pissed at Lucifer. She is also hurt and confused since she has no idea why Lucifer seemingly abandoned her. Lucifer just learned from Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) and Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) that Chloe was sent to Earth by God to cross paths with him when he decided to live in the city.

To make things worse, Chloe will get more frustrated with Lucifer when she finds out where he ran off to and why. In the promo released by FOX for episode 14, Lucifer returns to Hell to plot revenge on his enemies. Chloe will not be pleased because she believes Lucifer is not a bad person.

Meanwhile, “Lucifer” Season 2 was recently cut from its original 22 episodes to just 18. This means that the finale episode for the series will air on May 29. Co-showrunner Ildy Modrovich explained that Season 2 was cut because of some scheduling conflicts. The four remaining episodes will be part of Season 3.
