‘Lucifer’
How will Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe’s (Lauren German) relationship change when he decides to tell her who he really is in “Lucifer” Season 3? Fox

“Lucifer” Season 3 may see Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) finally telling Chloe Decker (Lauren German) who he really is.

In the teaser released by Fox for the upcoming episodes, Lucifer tells Chloe that he has decided to tell her the truth. Chloe looks nervous while waiting for Lucifer’s confession.

This wouldn’t be the first time that Lucifer has tried to tell Chloe that he’s not really who he claims to be. In the previous seasons, the lead character did a similar thing, but he never really managed to tell his partner the truth.

Elsewhere in the “Same Devil, New Time” promo, Dr. Linda (Rachael Harris) talks to Lucifer about his angel wings. Linda already knows who Lucifer really is as he might have confided in her after he woke up in the middle of the dessert with his angel wings. By the looks of it, Lucifer will tell Dr. Linda who he thinks gave him his wings back.

While at the 2017 San Diego Comic Con, Ellis told TV Line that Lucifer believes it was his dad who gave him his angel wings. But since Lucifer would want to prove that he is the devil and not an angel, this move will only cause even more problems in their father-son relationship.

Meanwhile, Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) and Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) will also have multiple scenes together in the upcoming episodes. The two characters went their separate ways in Season 2 after they started having feelings for each other. But when Amenadiel needed help, Maze was the first one to come to his rescue.

The latest “Lucifer” Season 3 trailer also confirmed the change in time slot for the hit series. For the past two seasons, “Lucifer” has aired on Mondays at 9 p.m. Starting Oct. 2, the series will air at 8 p.m. EDT and will serve as a lead-in for the network’s new TV series, “The Gifted.” Marvel’s first live-action “X-Men” TV show will take over the 9 p.m. time slot this fall.

“Lucifer” Season 3 also stars Tricia Helfer as Charlotte and Aimee Garcia as Ella.
