The newest “Marvel’s Luke Cage” Season 1 trailer (seen above) gives fans a chance to see the supporting characters of the Netflix drama. The show obviously focuses on Mike Colter’s titular character, but the trailer reveals that he has plenty of people around him. Not all of those individuals are as heroic as Luke, though.

Claire Temple — Everyone’s favorite nurse is spending some time in Harlem. Claire (Rosario Dawson), who met the hero in “Jessica Jones” Season 1, gives Luke plenty of advice in this trailer. “Sometimes, if you want justice, you have to get it yourself,” she says. They’re also seen getting pretty close around the 2:03 mark.

Young Luke — Viewers get a glimpse of how Luke became an unbreakable man. He crawls out of some sort of chamber with metal after an experiment. “I was put in some tank, like an exotic fish. Came out with abilities,” Luke explains.

Cottonmouth — Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes (Mahershala Ali) is definitely a gangster, and he has clearly taken some notes from Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) of “Daredevil.” The villain keeps it classy in nice suits, but he clearly does some of the dirty work himself. He has a violent confrontation with someone in the “Luke Cage” trailer.

Misty Knight — Simone Missick’s highly anticipated character only gets a few seconds of screen time in this video, but it’s clear that she’s tough. She also cares about her neighborhood. “You might be bulletproof, but Harlem ain’t,” she tells Luke.

“Luke Cage” is the third show from Marvel on Netflix. It’s one of four dramas, along with “Daredevil,” “Jessica Jones” and next year’s “Iron Fist,” that will join forces for an “Avengers”-like mini-series called “The Defenders” next year.

All episodes of “Marvel’s Luke Cage” Season 1 will be released on Netflix Friday, Sept. 30.
