Grammy-award winning rapper Macklemore and his fiancée Tricia Davis are going to have a baby, the couple announced Saturday.

Macklemore, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, tweeted a link to a YouTube video with the news on Saturday. “We wanted to share the news with you ourselves...Love Ben & Tricia,” he wrote in the tweet.

The video, called “A Surprise From Ben and Tricia,” depicts Davis undergoing an ultrasound while Haggerty holds her hand. It ends with the words “May 2015,” presumably the due date of the child. It was posted to the YouTube channel of Macklemore’s music partner Ryan Lewis.

“Today the media speculated about some big news in our life. So we decided to share it with you ourselves,” reads text at the beginning of the video. It was likely referring to a Page Six story that speculated about the couple’s pregnancy on Friday.

Macklemore, 31, proposed to Davis in January 2013. The couple have been together for nine years. They met when Davis was working as a nurse.

The baby isn’t going to be his only production in 2015: Macklemore is also set to release a new album in the second half of the year. His 2013 album with Ryan Lewis, "The Heist," won the Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2014. See the pregnancy announcement video below:
