Pop star Madonna's brother is apparently homeless and living under a bridge in Michigan. Tony Ciccone Jr., who was fired more than a year ago from his father's Ciccone Vineyard in Suttons Bay, Mich., now claims to be homeless and told the Michigan Messenger newspaper he had been living on the streets of nearby Traverse City since then.

I'm not looking to get a free handout because of my sister, the 55-year-old Tony said. I'm not looking for any publicity. If you're here to get me to tell stories about my sister, that's not who I am.

You think I haven't answered this kind of question a bazillion times - why my sister is a multibazillionaire, and I'm homeless on the street? he said. He claimed to have once worked in the fishing business in Alaska and as a photographer's assistant in New York.

Never say never. This could happen to anybody, he said. I don't have any income, I've got to go collect bottles and cans, do odd jobs.

The circumstances of his job loss were unknown.

There was no comment from Madonna, whose net worth in October 2010 was estimated at $58 million by business magazine Forbes.
