Bored with the existing Gmail themes? Here is a solution for it. Gmail is giving you a new option to customize the theme on your account. Now be as creative as possible with your account. Here is how you do it:

  • Go to account settings
  • Choose the option 'Themes'
  • Click on 'create your own theme'
  • Get going.

You can customize anything you can see on your account, be it the text column, link color, background, chat column. Choose your favorite color combinations and you can even upload a picture as your background from your Picasa web album. If you are not able to decide on colors you don't have to worry again. Choose 'Random', select a theme, and add your ideas to it.
