“Maleficent” star Angelina Jolie was recently spotted spending time with her two children, Knox, 8, and Shiloh, 10, at the popular Renaissance Fair in Irwindale, California.

The actress was also photographed treating Knox and Shiloh to turkey leg and corn on the cob during the fair. They were also accompanied by two bodyguards. At one point, the 41-year-old actress was also seen talking to an event-goer who was wearing a Renaissance-themed costume.

Jolie and her two children’s sighting came just days after her estranged husband, Brad Pitt, sat down for a tell-all interview with GQ Style. During his interview, Pitt shared what his life has been like for the past six months since Jolie filed for divorce. Despite their recent struggles, Pitt said that they have agreed on one important thing, which is to always put their family first.

“People on their deathbeds don’t talk about what they obtained or were awarded. They talk about their loved ones or their regrets – that seems to be the menu. I say that as someone who’s let work take me away. Kids are delicate. They absorb everything. They need to have their hand held and things explained. They need to be listened to. When I get in that busy work mode, I’m not hearing. I want to be better than that,” he said.

In September, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt. At the time, reports claimed that an altercation happened between the “Ocean’s Eleven” actor and one of their kids. Authories conducted an investigation into the case shortly after, but the charges filed against Pitt were dropped. A few weeks later, reports swirled that Jolie stopped allowing Pitt to visit their kids at home. But more days passed, and supervised visitations were finally granted to the actor.

The estranged couple has since agreed to not make their divorce public, since it has affected their six children tremendously. “We’re both doing our best. I heard one lawyer say, ‘No one wins in court – it’s just a matter of who gets hurt worse.’ And it seems to be true, you spend a year just focused on building a case to prove your point and whey you’re right and why they’re wrong, and it’s just an investment in vitriolic hatred. I just refuse. And fortunately my partner in this agrees. It’s just very, very jarring for the kids, to suddenly have their family ripped apart,” Pitt said.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight reported that Jolie has been informed that Pitt will be sitting down for an interview with GQ Style before it happened. A source told the publication, “He’s committed to having a healthy relationship with her.”

Jolie and Pitt were married for two years, but were together for more than a decade before they decided to go their separate ways. Three months after Jolie filed for divorce, they settled on a custody agreement, with the “Tomb Raider” actress receiving custody of their six children. However, the agreement is deemed to be temporary since both Jolie and Pitt want to raise their children together even though they have already gone their separate ways.
