A middle-aged man, who fell onto the subway tracks at Lincoln Center and was hit by a train, is alive at Cornell hospital.

An eyewitness on the train said they saw the unidentified man lying across the seats of the car and got into an argument with another man onboard, reported the New York Post. When the train stopped at 66th Street the man was angry about the argument and allegedly smacked the train car.

As he hit, the train began moving and he fell in between the train and the platform, causing some injuries, FDNY officials told the Post.
