Manchester United achieved a record 19th English league title on Saturday when Manchester United got a 1-1 draw against Blackburn.

The win sealed United's 12th title since the Premier League began in 1992-93.

Rooney's late penalty kick clinched a 1-1 at Blackburn that gave United the point needed to win the Premier League with a game to spare.

It was Rooney's 15th goal of the season. He scored 34 in the previous campaign before injuries and a loss of form that struck him after the World Cup.

United can finish the season with both the Premier League trophy and European Cup if it can beat Barcelona at Wembley Stadium on May 28.

The team with second most title is Liverpool.
