Mariah Carey just took to social media to share a photo of herself with ex-husband Nick Cannon and their twins, Moroccan Scott and Monroe. The Hollywood diva apparently decided to spend Easter Sunday with her family days after breaking up with boyfriend Bryan Tanaka.

Carey updated her Instagram this weekend with a snap of how she celebrated Easter. From the looks of it, the “Emotions” hitmaker grabbed the chance to color Easter eggs with her kids and her baby daddy. In the picture, the ex-lovers and their twins show off the eggs they colored to the camera. Carey is noticeably sporting a big smile on her face despite the fact that she had just broken up with Tanaka.

Many of Carey’s fans left positive messages on her Instagram post. “So proud of the parents you two are. Proof that you don’t have to stay together to rise [sic] kids. Awesome job guys,” one fan wrote. “So wonderful to see parents coming together and showing their children love. It’s about doing what’s best for your family. Great job Mariah and Nick,” another commented.

Last week, Carey and her backup dancer boyfriend called it quits after Tanaka reportedly admitted to feeling disrespected because Carey is maintaining a very cordial relationship with her ex-husband. After the split, Carey opted to spend time with her kids in Disneyland. The singer even posted photos from their time in the amusement park on social media.

As for Tanaka, he’s been very elusive on social media these days. While he hasn’t spoken out regarding the breakup, he seems to be unfazed as he shared a pic of himself celebrating Easter on his own.

Meanwhile, Cannon has already addressed reports about the rumored jealousy of Tanaka over his relationship with Carey. “Most men are jealous of me. I’m joking. But I know nothing about it … We have kids together, so we’ll always be family,” he recently told Entertainment Tonight.
