“Dancing With the Stars” pro Mark Ballas was injured in a car accident on Monday, TMZ reported. He was taken to a Los Angeles hospital but didn't sustain serious injury.

The news site reported that Ballas, 28, was driving on an L.A. street when he slowed down to make a right turn. The person behind him was apparently speeding and unable to stop in time, hitting the rear right side of Ballas' car.

There were reportedly five people in the car that hit the Texas native. They tried to say it was Ballas' fault, according to TMZ, but witnesses told cops at the scene that the car behind Ballas' appeared to be speeding.

The “DWTS” pro complained of whiplash and back pain, TMZ reported. Ballas' girlfriend reportedly drove him to Cedars-Sinai Medial Center, where doctors prescribed him pain medicine. The dancer was reportedly told he could expect the pain to get worse by tomorrow, which is bad news for the star, who was slated to sing and dance with a guitar strapped to his body.

Ballas made it to the finals on Season 18 of “Dancing With the Stars” with partner Candace Cameron Bure, but came in third place. It was Maksim Chmerkovskiy who took home the Mirror Ball trophy with 2014 Sochi Olympic gold medalist Meryl Davis.

Though Ballas probably wanted to win the coveted statue, he does have other things on his plate. Ballas, who recently launched a music career, has been promoting his single “Get My Name.”

He hasn’t publicly commented on the accident and remained silent on Twitter Monday.
